Tasmania’s whisky wizards win big.

Even more impressive is that Heartwood’s the first non-British distillery to win the award.

The Wizards of Whisky gong is just one of the awards that Heartwood Distillery and its owner, Tim Duckett, have picked up over the last year.

Also turning heads (and impressing palates) overseas is Sullivans Cove. Its American Oak Cask single malt earned a 95.5/100 rating from Jim Murray’s 2015 Whisky Bible – that’s the highest score even given to an Australian whisky.
